Im not sure why but something made me stop off in Toddington High Street today. As I walked past The Caring Company above the coffee shop, I spotted a nurse outside having a quick cigarette break. I recognised her—Katy, I said hello and introduced myself, but before I could finish, she smiled and said, “I know exactly who you are… You’re Chris’s daughter. Grandad Magic. We loved him so much.”

I was taken aback. Dad passed away over ten years ago, but before he died, he asked me to buy a single red rose for each of the staff who cared for him when the time came. A small gesture, but full of love and gratitude.

Katy remembered it clearly. In fact, they’d kept two of the roses—dried in a book. Just last week, they redecorated the office and decided to frame them. Two dried red roses, now hanging on the wall, as a reminder of one of their favourite patients.

Ten years on and he’s still making people smile, quite an achievement!
That totally made my day. 💙
Dad always taught me: “Make someone smile every day.”
I had no idea he was still doing that, long after he was gone !
This company are true to their word and I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond for my family, highly recommend ❤️

Thank all your team for the care and respect they have used when visiting my father. He is now fortunately able to manage on his own again but if he needs further help in the future I will not hesitate to contact you. I would certainly recommend your agency to anyone needing some help and support.

Loretta and her Team have been so incredibly kind in their care and support of me and my wife after returning home having suffered a stroke. The cheerful staff go over and above what is required and it’s wonderful to have local carers from the village here too. “A Caring Company” is exactly what they are – invaluable help when you most need it that can be relied upon in a time of crisis.

I am very grateful to the personnel at A Caring Company for the support that they gave to me and my father during his final years. All carers were kind, understanding and helpful to him and the organisation was both professional with regard to his health and safety and also very flexible to accommodate the inevitable changing circumstances that occurred towards the end of his life. The Innes family would like to extend their thanks and heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional care that Loretta and all the staff gave to our mum. All of the staff who came to look after mums needs were caring and respectful and throughout their visits they all became great friends to mum. They would make her smile and
laugh whilst undertaking their duties. They would prepare all the foods that she liked and the staff would liaise with family members to ensure she had everything she needed.
Sadly mum passed away recently but I know she will leave memories with everyone.
A Caring Company were excellent and others clients can rest assured they will be well looked after.
